FNC - Short week? Did it feel like it?
Two demons ruining the podcast and my life

Welcome to Friday Night Chats! I am so happy you're here! I hope you had a lovely long weekend (if you had one) and, if you didn't, I hope your week hasn't been too taxing. Let's chat!

Oh and speaking of chatting: here is the podcast! This is episode 4. It's been an entire month! You can also get it on Apple Podcasts or Spotify or wherever you get your pod fix.

I am writing to you from the couch. I just got back from Tāmaki Makaurau. I am always proud of my son, Eddie, but I was especially proud of him this week for speaking at the launch of the book he's featured in: Kiwi Health Heroes.

Here's a video from the launch.

Eddie spoke about how when you're sick and in hospital, people who help you make everything easier. He encouraged everyone to help each other. A lovely message I reckon!

I also had a very Heated Rivalry week. I published TWO pieces about Heated Rivalry. The piece about women leaving their husbands and people realising they're non-binary or embracing their sexuality is probably my favourite thing I've published in a long time.

The series stars Hudson Williams as Shane Hollander and Connor Storrie as Ilya Rozanov,
5000 serious words about Heated Rivalry
A new series we will have here at Emily Writes Weekly is our group chat roundtable, where we will discuss everything that matters and everything that doesn’t. And we will do this with my friends because I think they’re smarter and funnier than every man on TV. OK,

I also very much enjoyed sharing lots and lots of words about what I think about Heated Rivalry haha.

I am also going to organise a Heated Rivalry night - because why not?

I have been busy helping Eddie organise Kids Rock 4 Sudan - Eddie still needs volunteers if you're in Pōneke on 3 May. Email kidsrockaotearoa@gmail.com.
