FNC - When it rains!
There better be some flowers outta this.

Whew. What a week. When it rains it absolutely bloody pours. I’m going to talk a little bit about my week which might be triggering or upsetting for any parents who have been through traumatic medical events with their tamariki. If you don’t feel up to reading that, that’s ok! After the picture of Scout the pomeranian in her Pink Pony Club cowboy hat we will return to regular non-traumatic chats. Let’s go!
Well, this year can really just get in the bin. It’s been one of the worst years of my life. And I think losing Twinkle so suddenly has messed me up a bit more than I thought. It’s that whole thing of - one minute everything is fine, and the next minute your dog is dying in your arms. Or like, life is falling apart I don’t know.
It’s the awful unexpectedness of it.
Last Friday Night Chats I should never have said Eddie managed not to be hospitalised after he caught Covid. I counted my chickens etc. I did not touch enough wood.
