For the first time in a long time we haven’t had enough donations to give all of our families donations tomorrow.
Every week on Fridays we send funds to all of our families plus 5-6 other mutual aid funds that have verified families needing support in Gaza.
The ceasefire is essentially meaningless - Israel is still refusing to allow aid workers in and is still blocking aid. We are seeing Israeli settlers blocking trucks at gun point and throwing food onto the ground so it cannot eh.ea get to Palestinians.
There is still so much need.
I share these videos not to big up myself but to show your donations are reaching families and they’re saving lives.
The Aotearoa 2 Gaza mutual aid fund only exists because of the inaction of our government. It meant ordinary people in Aotearoa had to work out a way to get funds into Gaza to ensure more precious people weren’t killed by Israel’s genocidal campaign.
Because of you there are whole communities who know about Aotearoa and the generosity of its people.
Please please help us so we can give koha to all of our families this week. It feels unimaginable to have to say there’s no longer support 😭
